Co-financing

Persons with a certificate of disability and children with a certificate of disability up to the age of 16 can obtain co-financing for the purchase of equipment and software to facilitate their everyday life. Co-financing can be obtained under the Active Self-Government and Elimination of communication and technical barriers programs.

Elimination of communication and technical barriers.

Disabled persons may apply for funding for the elimination of communication and technical barriers if it is justified by their needs resulting from the type of disability and they have not received funding for this purpose within 3 years before submitting the application.

The subject of co-financing in the field of the elimination of technical barriers may be the purchase of devices with assembly that facilitate basic daily activities or contacts with the environment for a disabled person.

The co-financing is up to 95% of the project. Applications for the elimination of communication barriers are accepted throughout the year, and decisions on granting or refusing to grant funding are made in the order in which complete applications are received, until the Fund’s financial resources allocated for a given calendar year are exhausted. Applications should be submitted to MOPS, PCPR competent for the place of residence.
